Many people believe that once you’ve had a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or a stroke, you are in line for a recurrent one. Not so, says the American Heart Association. This press release explains a study in which researchers showed that a healthy diet, in addition to taking preventative medications, may prevent you from another heart attack/stroke.
